Old Friends

My freshman year at BYU I made many lifelong friends. After Fall Semester almost all of them left, except for Michelle. We moved into the same dorm room, took every single class together and were just weird freshman together. :) I remember spending many night falling asleep and talking about what our future would hold.
Fast forward FOURTEEN years and here we are! Michelle moved to Colorado and we hung out almost every single week. We did so many fun things, but mostly just spent every Tuesday at Ikea feeding our children for free and talking for hours while they played. It was so fun!

Michelle has a girl and then two boys, same as me. And they are all pretty close in age. Seeing our sweet little kids become friends has made my heart so happy. Sadly, this was our last Ikea week as Michelle is moving. I will miss you!!!! See you soon. :)

These pictures are a treasure. (But please send me the better copy Michelle!)
This what our kids would do at Ikea while we were too busy talking to pay attention.

Remember...

Remember that time I started a blog and then never updated it.....

Today in between conference sessions I watched the My Generations show on KBYU. It was awesome. I want someone to sponsor me on a family history tour. Anyway, something that was said really struck me. Natalie (the girl who was searching her history) found one of her ancestors, but couldn't find any information on her life. She talked about how sad it was that she had lived a life without any record of it. She was able to find some information later on, but it wasn't much. Holy cow. I don't want that to be me. Now, I don't actually equate blogging with journaling. There is a lot of stuff in my life that I don't want on my blog. I do have a journal too. But the more records the better, right?!?

Off we go

Max is...

Studying Hard
Driving a 1989 Lebaron (ridiculous)
Getting the highest grade in class on many of his tests
Working hard on his business. There was no Spring Break in this house. All work.
Being a great dad. How does he have so much energy to play all.the.time?
Is a really good husband and is always working to make me happy.
Got elected as the delegate for our caucus meeting and attended the convention awhile ago.
Still in the Nursery - 4 years and going strong
Playing basketball weekly with his friends. They just finished the church basketball season on Thursday. Hooray. That is dangerous stuff. Especially because they all come after Max since he is so tall. I still remember the surgery from a few years ago on a broken finger. Yikes.
Halle is....

Playing Soccer (after a lot of difficulty at the start, she loves it now!)
Loves, loves, loves preschool and is learning so much. She is devastated when she has a day off
Getting ready for kindergarten. How can this be?
Dancing away at her dance class
The BEST big sister to her brothers. Trey is lost when she isn't around.
A CTR 4 and reminds me like every day of this
Loves to clean the house and help me
Loves her playgroup every week
I don't know what I would do without this girl.

Trey is....

My little angel
Potty trained. Woo-hoo. (He was easy to train, once he decided to do it.)
Loves any kind of sport that involves a ball. I often have them flying across the room at my head.
Seriously good at using a lacrosse stick.
Riding a bike
Busy, busy, busy boy
No longer has to do his asthma medication
Stubborn but incredibly sweet
Zachary is...

My little love and sweetest baby ever
Crawling and into EVERYTHING
Teased me into thinking he was mellow and chill. Not since he started moving. He's all over the place
Eating lots of food
Has 1 tooth
Has had one ear infection and cold, but is a very healthy little boy
Small for his age but also really cute, so who cares? With Max as his dad, he's bound not to be too small, right?!?
Goes with the flow like nobody's business and has been my easiest baby yet.
A really, really special spirit. He has brought a lot of joy into our home and my family

I am...

Stressed, but happy. I don't do calm, cool and collected very well. People often tell me I seem easy going. I don't know why they say this. I am not.
Put my kids in the 24 Hour Fitness Kids Club and it has changed me life! Literally. I don't know if it is that I am getting a break during the day or that I am forced to exercise to get this break, but it is awesome.
Still in Young Womens...also 4 years and going strong.
About 10 pounds away from the weight I would like to be at. Seriously, this losing weight thing after a baby gets much harder the older I get. Sheesh
Loving driving a minivan. My dream car is a brand new Sienna, although our old one is just fine too
Planning to run/walk the Bolder Boulder. So excited!
Loving Instagram. Way better than Facebook and Twitter
Totally into the elections, but have banned myself from talking about it to anyone. I did however attend a Mitt rally a few months ago.
Loving all the exciting things going on in my fam right now. Kali is getting married in less than 3 weeks. Jeremy gets home in about 2 months and Jordan and Victoria are having a baby in August.
Life is really good. Here's to more blogging small moments and less big updates.

New Blog. New Start.

I am so upset I could almost cry. Even though I was never a huge blogger, I am devastated because ALL of my pictures on my old blog got deleted. A little tip. If you delete the album with your blog pictures from Google +, they get deleted from your blog too. And there is no way to get them back. Devastating.

But...on the other hand, it is a chance to start over and make sure that I save all my old memories. I never made a blog book, but now I am going to find a way to take all my old posts and save them. So many memories in them. Somehow I will add pictures back in. It won't be the same, but it will be fine!

And I get to start my blog over and be more dedicated to this whole process of preserving memories for my family. Here's to new beginnings! (And sorry that I am not putting links to all your blogs on the side, I am WAY too lazy. And sorry that you have to change us over in google reader. This whole thing is such.a.hassle.)
